Management Tips:

 

• Keep feeders approximately half filled at all times.
• Birds allowed to forage will consume less feed.
• Provide grit at 1 to 2 lb. per 100 birds at least once per week until oyster shell or ground limestone is offered. Provide grit and oyster shell in small hoppers or pans.
• Oyster shell or ground limestone may be offered to laying birds

 

Feeding Guide:

 

• Begin feeding Country Road™ Layer Feed at a rate of 1-1/2 LB per bird per week from 16 weeks of age through the laying period.
• This is a complete, balanced ration. Scratch grain is not needed. Oyster shell or ground limestone may be offered free-choice in addition to Rural King® Layer Feed.
• Keep feeders approximately half filled at all times.
• Provide plenty of fresh, clean water at all times.
